ABOUT THE STUDIO
OUR NAME: Vivace (pronounced "vi-vah-chey") is a musical term meaning "full of life" and that is the heart of this studio. OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to provide comprehensive piano instruction using fun and engaging teaching methods to develop a lifelong love of music in our students.
OUR STUDENTS:
Students at Vivace Piano Studio have ranged in age from 4 to 74! Younger students love coming to lessons which include active games on the piano, on the floor, and even outside using chalk and bean bags! Teens and adults enjoy learning their favorite tunes and musical styles using a specially designed adult piano curriculum. Every student is given instruction tailored to meet their learning style and interests.
OUR INSTRUCTORS:
LISA SHARMA has
almost 30 years
of piano teaching
experience with students of all ages. Known for her fun and lively teaching style, she has a special way with younger students and beginners. More experienced students appreciate her ability to rejuvenate their love of music. When she is not teaching, she leads a women's ministry for a local church and enjoys time with her husband and her two teenage children and Beasley, the studio puppy.
KIRAN SHARMA has been teaching for four years now as our student-teaching intern. As a bright, talented and mature 17-year-old, Kiran connects especially well with younger students. Besides playing piano and teaching ;she enjoys singing and is an active member of a local service club and her church youth group.
